A Detroit Metro native, Chris decided on winemaking as his second career. After attending Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, he spent time working in wine production and winery operations in Paso Robles, Washington, New Zealand, South Africa, Napa, Sonoma and Michigan. Chris returned home to take over as head of Detroit Vineyards in September of 2019. He loves white wine, pizza, CrossFit and yoga.
A Metro Detroit Native, Antoniues found a passion for wine while working as a server for a large chain restaurant. He is currently enrolled in the Enology and Viticulture Program at Lake Michigan College as a viticulture student. He plans to travel, explore and expand his knowledge of the world of wine as well as work with some of the world’s most intriguing wine makers in their cellars and on their vineyards. He loves the color red, so red wines are dear to his heart. He’s adventurous, and always up for a new challenge.
After growing up in Texas and living abroad in high school, Candace came to Michigan for college and fell in love with the state. While traveling through Italy and Spain she found a passion for food and wine and decided to attend culinary school. Since then she has worked in the food and wine industry in Detroit. Always up for an adventure, Candace loves to travel, sail and play golf.
